Jake Finley, Founder & CEO

Jake founded Karis in 2014 and later Karis Cold in 2019. His vision leads the company while developing the pipeline and entering new markets with a current portfolio excess of $1.5B in 10+ markets. Since its inception, Karis has developed, acquired, and disposed of over $2.5 billion worth of industrial real estate. With Karis Capital, Jake completed a significant joint-venture with AEW, a private-equity real estate firm which was sold in 2021 for one of the largest IRR’s in AEW’s history. Prior to founding Karis, Jake began his career at the Chicago Board of Trade as a commodities broker, followed by selling overhead doors and dock levelers, and then as a real estate broker focusing on logistics-related tenant representation. He played both intercollegiate golf and baseball at Taylor University in Indiana where he earned his degrees in finance and accounting.
